'Sup, Dudes!?
Anna's stupid. I think this loaf is perfect and adorable. I don't know what to name it (or if it even needs a name), but it's good. Anna's just got her own issues that she needs to work out!
In other news, color comics are so fuckin' expensive to print!!! Brian started making my comic in black & white just for creative reasons, but he's discovering as he works on making books of Brandy de Hex and Polarnoids available in more places than Amazon that they're going to be pretty pricey. So it goes, I guess, but he told me that, with the exception of those two series, he'll probably mostly do B&W comics moving forward (for the time being, at least).
But hey! In the meantime, you can get the first volume of my adventures from Barnes & Noble now! It's also probably available other places (and Brian's working on building Starry Knight Studios' own online store), but I know that it's at Barnes & Noble. Also, Brian's getting close to being done with Volume 2, so keep your eyes peeled for that! (But don't actually peel your eyes, because even I would agree that that sounds horrifying.)
Now for my Question of the Moment: Why do mustard-flavored potato chips not really taste like any mustard I've ever tasted? They taste like Mustard-Flavored Potato Chips™, but not like Dijon or yellow or brown or honey or anything else…Maybe I'm just not sophisticated enough to know about the obscure mustard flavor used on mustard-flavored potato chips. I'm sure some pretentious piece of shit would gladly tell me why I'm wrong in every way, and if only I had chosen to live that person's life, I wouldn't be such a bonehead. That's what I have Anna for, though.
Anyway, it's nice to be back in my usual art style. I hope all of you reading this (which I hope is a lot of people) are in your usual art styles too. That is, assuming you like your usual art styles. Sometimes, it's nice to change things. Sometimes, it's just nice to change for a week and then go back to how things normally are. That's kinda how I feel right now. Other people feel differently, I'm sure. For once, though, I won't criticize you for that. It's cool to be different…just not in ways where you act like you're better than me (or other people) for it.
Thus ends my Extremely Insightful and Philosophically Robust Scribb1e.
