Libby’s Scribb1es

'Sup, Dudes!?

Billie's board here is actually called a "Onewheel™," which is a trademarked product, so this isn't really a Onewheel™. It's just inspired by one for artistic reasons. On the Wikipedia article for these things, it says that they're designed to feel like riding a snowboard on snow. Now I'm wondering if Chase would have better luck with something like this, as opposed to his last attempt at skateboarding.

Anna wouldn't like it, though, because I think it has a computer in it, and she's…Well, you know how Anna Log is…I don't blame her, though. I like skateboarding because it's a thing I get to do. I'm sure that things like this require a lot of balance and stamina and skill, but I like propelling myself on a board. It's also why I hate snowboarding, because gravity is propelling you down the mountain…I wonder what skiing is like…I mean, there are types of skiing that aren't just falling with style, right? If not, what are those weird sticks for?

This sounds like something I need to look into. I may or may not report back, depending on if I actually do look into it and/or remember to write about it in next week's Scribb1e.

In other news: There are only 6 more weeks till Christmas! Why do I know/care? Because there are also only 6 more weeks till the 200th episode of this comic series is released, which I think is pretty sweet! (And, unlike Christmas, my comic episode will verifiably happen that day…rather than just being conveniently moved to coincide with Winter Solstice-related holidays that people were already celebrating, so that a bunch of ignorant twats can throw conniption fits 2,000 years later, when people still want to celebrate wintertime but aren't particularly interested in a guy who is meteorologically and historically not the reason for the season…)

Honestly, the time around the Winter Solstice is good for holidays and celebrations. Like, it's cold and sucky and dark, because by then you're not only back on Daylight Wasting Time, but it's also, like, the shortest days of the year. Spending time with people you like and having good cheer is a good thing. It's also a good reason to buy stuff for the people you love (or tolerate on a familial basis). If you don't know what to buy, though, I recommend my first book. You could also get other stuff, but that's what I recommend as a reliable, unbiased Recommender of Stuff!

Okay, that's it, nitwits!

(Hey! I didn't bitch about Billie's presence today! I'm such a good person!)

L8er Sk8ers!
