'Sup, Dudes!?

Anna's so dumb. Doesn't she know that thyme doesn't even come in heads?

More importantly, though: Yes, this comic was made ahead of time. You wouldn't know, because it was released the same time as usual (or, you're reading it well after the release date, in which case it matters even less), but this episode was actually made on the Monday before its Wednesday release, whereas most episodes get made on Tuesdays. Brian did this, because he's going to a baseball game with his parents on Tuesday and didn't want to have anything else to do that day. (The baseball game also explains last week's episode.)

Speaking of doing something else, Brian has been secretly working for the past several months on a totally unrelated project: Treasure Island. Or, more accurately, he's been working on illustrating and designing his own editions of the classic novel that conveniently lives in the Public Domain (meaning that Brian can do as he pleases with the book, just like anybody else can). You can get it in color hardcover or in black & white paperback (or in Kindle eBook). The hardover's super expensive, because the illustrations are in color, and Amazon thinks that means it has to cost an arm and a leg, but the paperback is reasonably priced. Also, the illustrations have been specially designed for both formats. Even though they use the same basic outlines and stuff, the coloring/shading is completely different and uniquely suited for the two different ink options!

You should definitely go buy copies of Treasure Island, so that Brian can make money off of a project that turned out to be much more work than he initially expected. In fact, your purchases might make an active contribution to making it so that Brian's eyelid will stop twitching!

Idk…Even though this episode was released after the baseball game, it was written beforehand, so I have no idea who won…You probably wouldn't care anyway.

L8er Sk8ers!
