Libby’s Scribb1es

'Sup, Dudes!?

Last week's Scribb1e was super-duper loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong, so I'll try to keep this one short…

If you're wondering what Anna means by her lead on Siobhán, it's that she has appeared in 47* episodes/comics/chapters/issues/installments (as of this one), whereas Siobhán the Shirtless has appeared in only 39. Anna's lead (in her mind, I guess) isn't guaranteed, though, because Siobhán has appeared in more comics since her first appearance in No. 65 than Anna has (39 to 38). So, in her infinite weirdness, Anna wants to be in more comics than Siobhán, regardless of her temporal headstart of being older as a character (if not a person…Honestly, I think this is all pretty childish…and that's coming from me!). Seeing as their counts post-Siobhán's first appearance are so close, I'll see if I can convince Brian to just include Anna in the next couple comics. That way, she can have the lead, and Siobhán won't even care, because she has the gift of not knowing that she's a fictional character.

Now, to answer the question I'm sure is on everyone's mind (even mine): It appears as though this episode/comic/chapter/issue/installment is the first time Anna Log has ever for-sure worn a skirt. Libby Sk8er Girl No. 95 has her wearing what looks like a dress, but she's sitting down, and it could just be a long shirt. (Where is the line between a long shirt and a short dress?) It's also up to interpretation what Anna's wearing in No. 163, so yeah…Oh, and if you buy the first collected book of my comics, there's a bonus comic, where Anna is definitely wearing a dress. So, in short…This paragraph is ridiculous.

Anyway, I hope this Scribb1e was short enough for you. As some creepy professor of Brian's dad's once said: "Writing should be like [Anna Log]'s skirt: Long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep it interesting." I'm not sure how I feel about that specific analogy, but I don't have much room to talk, because I've been trying not to make a joke about Anna previously being "Anna the Skirtless," to go with "Siobhán the Shirtless." I think it's funny, but it's also stupid.

Well, that last sentence kinda sums up every one of these comics, so let's just leave it at that.

L8er Sk8ers!

* It's not really a reference, but some Trekkies might get a kick out of that number. 🖖
