'Sup, Dudes!?

Before we start: I don't actually know if a Certificate of Deposit is a good kind of investment, and neither does Brian. He's heard about them before, and he read (skimmed) the Wikipedia article before drawing this comic, but it seems like it maybe has upsides and downsides? Brian probably should have asked his mom or dad (because your parents always know more about money than you do, right?), but then they may have been spoiled for this comic, and there goes half of my readership!

What I can tell you is that it would be really great to invest in T-shirts and other apparel…If only there was a good, reputable shop to acquire badass merch from…Oh, wait! There is! Now, maybe we should have a cool "iSk8" design available as T-shirts, tank tops, skateboards, and other stuff…Well, whaddya know?!?

I know how envious you guys get of all the shirts I rock, so I mentioned to Brian after this comic was drawn that it would be cool to have a "tie-in" design for it. This is what he came up with. It's in the font Sk8er, which is actually a font Brian designed for lettering comics, and the text is in red! Even though my comics are completely black & white (we don't talk about #3), we thought it would be nice if the shirt had a little bit of color. Thus, we picked red—specifically, hex code #952B2B, since that's the color for a lot of the red stuff on my part of the Starry Knight Studios website! (Note: Hex codes are just a computer thing. Threadless probably prints in CMYK. Plus, different materials may get printed on differently, and the light will make the "objective" color on a shirt or mug different too? IDK…Just don't expect the color to be EXACTLY #952B2B…)

Okay. That's all I have to say for today. I highly recommend you give us money, but Brian also says not to take financial advice from me, so…don't buy things from us!? ;)

L8er Sk8ers!
